Let’s start with you.
What look and feel are you going for? Do you have an idea of the overall ambiance you’re hoping to achieve for your event or are we starting from scratch? Every project, person and event is unique, and at the end of the day, you need to be happy with the finished product, so we’ll do what it takes to make that happen.
Here is an outline of the design process from start to finish, based on the process for custom wedding invitation suites and other extensive design projects. For non-wedding orders, turnaround time is typically much shorter.
1. Submit a contact us form and provide as much detail as possible
This essential first step allows us to get all of the basic information out of the way before the fun begins.
2. Meet & greet
We want to know as much about your event as possible. A sit down meeting, phone conversation, or Skype meeting helps us learn what makes you tick if you don’t already have a vision in mind for your event. Your favorite activities as a couple, interests that you share, and your background story all help to make wedding materials that are uniquely you.
Next, we will provide a custom quote for your project, based off our meet and greet and your design needs.
4. Invoice & deposit
Once the proposal is signed and approved, we will provide an invoice for half of the project total. The remaining amount will be invoiced once the final design has been approved and before the order is shipped to you. We accept personal checks and PayPal (3% service fee).
5. Design choices
You will receive two digital mock-ups showing slightly different design options. You can choose one or the other, or a combination of the two. This important step will allow us to get valuable feedback from you if we are missing the mark for your desired look and feel.
6. First proof & revisions
The first proof will utilize the design choice from step 5. If you have any changes, we can make revisions to the proof and provide an updated version.
7. Final proof
Once all additional revisions are complete, we will send you a hard copy proof for your signed approval (if time permits). Please ensure that you double-check spelling and all information.
Once you approve the final proof, any additional changes will require a change order fee.
8. Printing & assembly
Once you approve the final copy, we will print your design – we can then assemble your invites for an additional fee or we can ship everything directly to you assembly-ready.
9. Final invoice & delivery
Once we receive the remaining balance, we will ship your order directly to you!
